Any way to get an Apple Watch to connect to an iPad for possible calls/texts? My phone is currently stuck in recovery mode and I don't want to replace it so close to the new models coming out. Would it be possible to switch the number to an Apple Watch so I can get regular phone calls and SMS, have it sync somewhat with my iPad and just leave the phone out of the equation for like 6 weeks or so? all of them have the same features in terms of sending messages and calls

though mind you if you wish to use it for calls and sms's when the iphone it's connected to is out of range

then you will need to purchase the cellular model
