Cannot copy/paste filename in Save dialog

Since my Tahoe upgrade 2+ months ago whenever I download a file (from Safari, Mozilla, Chrome) I can't copy or paste in the filename edit field.

Whenever I attempt to copy part of a filename in the Save dialog edit field I hear a 'blorp' sound and nothing happens. It's the same thing when I try to paste text into the Save dialog filename field.

The only workaround so far...

1) Manually select the existing filename and create a new name

2) For the next file, set the Save dialog file list to "Date Modified"

3) Click on the recent filename

4) The click on the end of the filename and add a number or or additional description terms

That's a lot of mousing and clicking!

I'm hoping there's an easy setting I've missed somewhere, but I've searched extensively this issue seems to be missing from Apple Support and even Google.

Update: I believe I've solved the issue by going to Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard and then toggling "Full Keyboard Access" - cmd+v now works in a save dialog box
