How can I download older version of final cut pro?

I have an iMac17,1 running macOS Monterey, and I can’t download Final Cut Pro because it now requires macOS 15.6 or later. I purchased Final Cut Pro a while ago and am trying to install it on my desktop. Is there a way to download an older version that’s compatible with my system?

iMac 27″, macOS 12.7

It used to be simple, but some time earlier this year Apple stopped providing older versions of the software via the App Store.

Do you have a copy in a backup, or in another mac? If so, you can copy it to this mac.

Otherwise, you will probably have to find someone with a copy of the appropriate version for your OS. Be careful not to download from somewhere online, lest you get a version laced with malware.
