Ultra 3 watch face changes to ellipse diagram after upgrade to 26.2

My Ultra 3 watch face changes to an unexpected ellipse diagram after 15 seconds of no activity. I can press the button on the top right and the watch will revert to the expected watch face, but again after 15 seconds it changes to this unexpected diagram.

This started with the 26.2 patch. I have shutdown/restarted the Watch three times but the behavior continues.

Any suggestions?
