An overlay on top of the area used for searching internet.

I have an iPhone 12mini

iOS version 26.1(which I’m not impressed with since the update)

I don’t know what happened but the most aggravating overlay sits on top of area used for internet searches no matter which search you I use. Help! No doubt it’s something I have missed with causing this but I have had nothing but frustration after the last to update for iPhone or.

Make sure you have Hover Text turned off at Settings > Accessibility > Hover Text.

Also, it appears you are maybe using Chrome and it does a poor job of screen management when using very large font sizes. You can send feedback to Google, decrease the Font Size, or try another browser.

What app are you using there? It doesn't look like one of the standard apps...

You reference 'internet searches', which implies you're using a browser of some sort. The standard/default browser on iOS is Safari, but I've never seen Safari put 'Incognito mode' in the keyboard area, which makes me think you're using a different browser. In which case this sounds like a problem with that browser - maybe it needs an update?

Does this happen on Safari?
