Mac Mini with 2 Internal HDD, how to see what's only on each drive separately

I have a 2014 Mac Mini with 2 internal 500Gb hard drives. I just bought a new Mac Mini with a single 256Gb SSD and a docking station with a 1Tb SSD. I want to move apps from the old Mini to the internal drive and data files to the external SSD.

The current Mini shows two drives on the desktop (HD1 and HD2), but when you open them they show the same data. Is there a way to look at each drive and only see what's on that drive? Something like Windows File Explorer where you see C: and D: etc. and just the content of those individual drives (or partitions).

Yes, something to keep in mind; however, the old Mini is primarily used with Open Office and FireFox. I know Open Office isn't up to date, but there is LibreOffice and all the data files from Open Office were saved in MS format (xls, doc, etc.). The only other things would be a driver for the HP OfficeJet. I'll make sure to look at everything in the Apps folder.

In a general sense both are translation or can be considered emulation. Basically, one translates on the fly the other "precodes" before execution. But both methods "emulate" the operation of an Intel processor.

Most users don't care how it is done just so it is done.

Yes, likely earlier than 2014. I can’t get to the bottom of the Mini to check and the box has no stickers. It is the server version.
