if it was me then I would take these steps What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

and then set it up from new to the new appleID

Rudegar and advised you what to do. Prepare the phone for sale then set it up for the other person.

Maybe set your forum default sort order to "Oldest" in your user preferences to follow the thread as it was posted.

For Apps, yes they will request the password for the Apple ID used to download them, whenever they need to update. But should ask for it at any other time.

If the music was shared over family sharing, it should not cause issues. If it was purchased with the previous account it may simply be unplayable.

No. Apps will continue to work. They'll just request the original Apple Account whenever they need to update.

Not sure what happens with Apps that were downloaded through family sharing from another member of the Family sharing group though.

With that said, yes, erasing the device and setting it up again would be the better choice, unless there's something else preventing that.

Any family member over the age of 13 can remove themselves from a family group at any time. Just select your name and then select Leave Family. You can also

Signing out of a phone usually causes problems down the road, it's only done for diagnostics.

Do as Rudegar advised.

apps downloaded with the earlier appleID would also stop working unless deleted and redownloaded with the new account, best make a clean slate
