Hi all! I bought a MacBook Air 15" m4 and when I first connected it to the network, I noticed a strange small bright white spot in the center of the screen. It is clearly visible at an angle and on certain colors. The laptop is brand new, I haven't had time to charge it once and haven't even used it. Could this be a manufacturing defect?

If you bought directly from Apple, either from the Apple Online Store or a walk-in Apple retail store, you have a 14- day "no questions asked" return option. If there is a defect and your wait beyond the grace period, they have the option of sending it for repair instead of replacing it.

Can you visit an Authorised Apple Service Provider next to your place and let them check the display?
This would be the fasted way to get a diagnose and find out what can be done about it.
