So on the left corner of the screen I have a folder but EVERYTIME I try to move an app into it THE FOLDER RUNS AWAY INTO THE NEXT SCREEN. I CANT EVEN REMOTELY DRAG THE APP WITHIN A ONE INCH RADIUS OF THE FOLDER!!!

Patience wins the day. Since the folder is on the edge of your screen, sometimes it just helps to move the folder over, then move the app into it, then move it back. Don't try to move the app quickly. Move it slowly and hold your finger until the folder grabs the app.
