How do I turn off Mirroring on MacBook Pro so I can change the lock screen password setting?

Why is the "Require password" option greyed out

mac—Open the iPhone Mirroring app

iPhone Mirroring .app>Settings from the menu bar click on "ask every time", not the “auto authorization.”

Restart your Mac, go back to your >System Settings>Lock Screen and the psswd field>set psswd requirement to "never"

if necessary Restart both devices...
