I’m trying to download logic on a family share members Mac. I purchased it when it was Logic Pro. All we are being offered in the App Store for family members purchases is Logic Pro 9 for shared family purchases. How do we get Logic Pro x onto the family member Mac?

Yes. If you're all in the same Family Sharing group, once any account has been used to buy the application, all accounts can freely download it. They can also use applications downloaded with your account.

The version it takes me to last updated more than ten years ago so that’s not the solution sadly, thanks anyway
I understand that, but the downloadable version from purchases is v9 and can’t then be updated to recent. The version from the normal search has a full price on it
So, I’d have to log onto the App Store with my account and download the app on the family members Mac. The family member would then be able to log on and use the app, is that correct?
When the family member goes to the app in the App Store, it has a price of £199.99 on the button so presumably they will be charged if the download it, is that not the case?
