Will iPhone data be lost when joining Family Sharing?

My wife and I have been using the same AppleID for over 20+ years and for the past year or so, we have been seeing and experiencing what happens when you continue to share an AppleID. It was suggested to do Family Sharing to alleviate that. I am going to be the one who "joins" Family Sharing and my wife will keep the original AppleID. When I join Family Sharing, will I loose all my texts, music, photos, notes, etc and everything else that is on my iPhone? If this is the case, we will continue to use the same AppleID and just deal with the issues, but, I wanted to ask for clarification first.

Honestly, I would like to go into an Apple Store and have someone walk me through the process step by step so that if something goes wrong, they are there to help fix it.

Thank you for your time in advance.

So if I understand this, you will be making your own account. One of you will set up Family Sharing and be the Organizer. It can be either of you.

When you sign out of the old account you will be asked if you wish to delete the content currently on the iPhone. Say no. You want to keep your content. Read what this does --> What happens after you choose Sign Out But Don't Erase - Apple Support

If you were using Photo Optimization, turn this off so full quality photos are kept on the iPhone --> Manage your photo and video storage - Apple Support

Also make sure you are signed out of Find My with the old account --> Turn off Find My on your devices and items - Apple Support
