"White haze appears when using 0.5x camera mode: Hi i tried using a screen video but still showing in the video also 😣. Is this a hardware issue ?"

This is occurring with particular zooms. So, potentially, this is a hardware issue, and you should get this serviced.

Get this Serviced:

Set up a Genius Bar Appointment at your local Apple Store. If not a nearby option, request mail-in service. Another option is to take this to an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider).

Give Apple A Call:

Perform a screensharing session with them. In doing so, they will see your screen, and will let you now what they are seeing form their end. Also, if you have access to another iPhone, request that you screenshare that with the Apple Rep by opening the Camera App, turning on speakerphone, and hover over it, explaining what you are seeing. Use my User Tip for that: Screenshare your iPhone with the Camera App Enabled to Easily Converse Over-the-Phone with Apple Support - User Tip. If all else you have is a Mac, then you can try sceensharing the Mac's camera. You'll have the Camera App open in that function as well, but it would be mirrored. So, you'll have to position it correctly. I've been through both methods, and they work just fine: Screensharing MacOS FaceTime to Easily Converse Over-the-Phone with Apple Support - User Tip

Thank you or the screenshot.

Haze on iPhone Screen:

  • Screenshot Showing This:

You are providing a screenshot of the camera app. If the output upon print is fine, then that would indicate that is is a system error. But, you do not get this elsewise in any other mode. So, that would indicate that it is a system error, as well --not a hardware error.

  • Try a Screen Recording:

What happens when you perform a screen recording, and then play it on another device. Do you still get this issue? If not, then, once again, that would indicate that it is a system error --likely a bug, or a misconfiguration. So, reset your iPhone --

  • Perform a Force Restart:

Go Here: Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

  • Clear the Caches:

User my User Tip: How to Clear "System Data" in your iPhone's Storage: - User Tip Caches are created for remembrance of application use so that they open quicker, and operate more efficiently.

  • Restore form a Backup:

Have a backup of your iPhone? If you are not concerned with losing data, then restore your iPhone from a backup that was made when Wi-Fi was working. Prior to restoring, backup your iPhone, incase anything goes wrong with the restoration.

No succes?...

  • Reset the iPhone:

Reset iPhone Settings to their Defaults - Apple Support. No contents will be lost; it's just that settings would be set to default.

Does that appear every time in the same spot in every photo or video that you take using the iOS Camera App?

If No.

Lighting effects and needs

Lighting plays a crucial role when capturing indoor photos or videos, as it greatly impacts the overall quality and aesthetics of the final result. Here are some reasons why lighting is essential in indoor photography and videography:

  1. Adequate lighting ensures that your subject is properly exposed, meaning it is neither too bright nor too dark. Sufficient light helps to maintain clarity, detail, and sharpness in your images or footage, allowing viewers to see the subject clearly.
  2. Appropriate lighting conditions help to reproduce accurate colors in your indoor photos and videos. Different light sources can have varying color temperatures, such as warm (yellowish) or cool (bluish) tones. Understanding and controlling the lighting in your environment enables you to achieve the desired color accuracy and white balance.
  3. Properly balanced lighting helps to minimize harsh shadows or blown-out highlights, creating a more balanced and visually pleasing composition. By strategically positioning light sources or using reflectors, you can control the shadows and highlights to enhance the overall depth and dimension of your indoor shots.
  4. Lighting has the power to set the mood and create a specific atmosphere in your indoor visuals. For example, soft and diffused lighting can generate a calm and intimate ambiance, while dramatic or directional lighting can evoke a sense of mystery or tension. Understanding how different lighting techniques influence the mood allows you to craft the desired emotional impact in your photos or videos.
  5. Being able to control the lighting in indoor settings provides you with greater creative freedom. You can experiment with various lighting setups, such as using natural light, artificial lighting, or a combination of both. Additionally, manipulating the direction, intensity, and color of light allows you to create unique and captivating visual effects, enhancing the storytelling aspect of your indoor photography or videography.

Considering these factors, investing time and effort into understanding and utilizing proper lighting techniques will significantly enhance the quality, impact, and overall aesthetic appeal of your indoor photos and videos.
