Morning Routine Shortcut on iPhone

I just changed over from an Samsung Android phone to an iPhone 14 IOS 26.2. On my old Android phone, when I turned off my wake-up alarm, my phone would automatically announce the weather, my events for the day, and then play NPR News Now. I tried to get my new iPhone 14 to do the same routine using the Shortcuts app, but, so far, I can only get it to play NPR News Now. It won't announce the weather or my events. I just got off the phone after an hour with an Apple representative. After speaking to her supervisor, she informed me that this routine is not possible. I'm hoping someone here in the community has a work around. Otherwise, I guess I will have to use my old phone as an alarm clock. 😕
