Apple TV prorated credit when upgrading to Apple One

I purchased a year subscription to Apple TV a couple months ago. Now I’m looking at getting an Apple One bundle. If subscribe to the bundle - do I eat the $100 I paid for Apple TV, or does Apple offer a prorated reimbursement?

I can confirm that prorated refunds do happen. I had yearly subscriptions to Apple Music and Apple TV. When I switched to Apple One Premier I received credits on both subscriptions within a couple of days. Since I used my Apple Card as the payment method I also was charged back for the Daily Cash rebates those subscriptions had generated.

Everything went smoothly.

It will be reimbursed back to your account. I recently acquired Apple One Premium and wondered about my Apple Music subscription I’d paid a year fee for. I called Apple to ask about this and they assured me they would reimburse it back to my account and it also came with a one month free trial to change over. If you’re still concerned you can call 1-800-MY-APPLE if in N. America. They will be happy to assist and can take a look at your account.
