Promotional gift cards Are Not Valid

I bought an iPad last year. It came with a $75 promotional gift card. The iPad was discounted $75 and I paid monthly installments to purchase the $75 gift card which I should be able to use towards a future purchase. I finished my payments and the gift card shows as "redeemed" on the iPad. So I literally paid $75 to get a $75 discount.

The Gift Card is available to you immediately after purchase of the promotional product. You do not have to finish the installments before the Gift Card is valid and it could have been redeemed immediately after you received the iPad.

  • Check your Purchase History to determine if the balance had already been applied or if you had made purchases to your Apple Account.
