Change Calendar app background from Black to White

Hello all! I am embarrassed as I cannot accomplish what should be a very simple task: How do I change the Calendar background from Black to White? I'm not trying to change the color of the individual calendars within my Calendar app... I look forward to any assistance. : )

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 15.6

I had the same issue- definitely do not like anything about the new update. Try settings-> Appearance-> Light. That changed my background to white on my Mac.

Good luck! I am replying because I never get an answer on this, and, as of now 0 rplies for color on Calendar. I am going to check on YouTube.
