Cannot sync icloud drive to Windows Icloud App.

I have not been able to sync my icloud for Windows icloud drive for many months now. I have tried many restarts and reloaded the app 6 times. I lost quite a bit of data on the first time i deleted it as there were quite a few files that had not synced. My latest version i am on is 15.7.56 and produces the same symptom: some files in icloud drive wont sync because the path is too long. According the error info, it is due to files exceeding 256 characters in the path file name. I have searched the icloud drive from my Mac and there are no files that exceed that or even close. In any case teh error states that after icloud for Windows ver 10.8, it will sync all files except for the ones that exceed that length. Nothing syncs. I am still on Windows 10 Home Ver. 22H2.
