iTunes songs not transferring to thumb drive
I click on a song in a music folder that I made in itunes but it doesn't go into my thumb drive when I drag it over.

Your question is a bit confusing.
Your device line says you have an iMac with an M3 Apple silicon CPU. Those Macs won't have iTunes at all. They have the Music app.
The Music app does not have folders, nor any way to make them. It can have playlists with tracks added to them from different sources, like CDs, MP3 files, downloads from the iTunes Store or tracks from the Apple Music subscription service. Where did the track in question come from?
Are you dragging it from the Music app to a Finder window with the thumb drive opened, or to the thumb drive icon on the desktop?
If the drag from the Music app is not working, you can try dragging the file directly from the location it is in, in Finder.
Right click, control+click, or 2 finger click (trackpad) on the song, then select Show in Finder so you can see the actual file. You should then be able to drag it directly onto the thumb drive.
