Find My is causing battery drain on iPhone 16 running iOS 26

First of all, Find My has been around long before iOS 26 was released. So a change in your battery’s behavior that seemed to coincide with some iOS 26 event is unlikely related to Find My.

Secondly, if you’ve properly determined that Find My is a significant power-using app (see the article linked below), you should consider the activities you’re asking the app to perform, as it’s not generally that much of a resource hog. For example, have you allowed someone else to track you?

Finally, hopefully you’re keeping your iPhone well charged.

Bluetooth and Find My no not use battery unless you have installed incompatible software like VPN.

Activation Lock relies on FindMy which should never be disabled or removed.

Please show us a screen shot indication that either are using battery.

BTW many of us are of similar vintage.

Charge iphones on wifi all night every night. It is not supposed to last days.
