We have tried everything and cannot get the clicking sound to stop when typing. We’ve gone into settings, keyboards, sound/haptics… Done everything that every article we have found has suggested and nothing has worked. Please help.

Device, version, what’s been tried?
Assuming iPhone or iPad, usual would be Settings > Sounds & Haptics (or Sounds) > Keyclick > Off
If that is not working, try a forced restart:
Remove any third-party hardware or software keyboards, and remove any add-on VPN apps, and test again.
Failing all that, contact Apple Support.
