Messages on 2025 Macbook Air does not have an Apple Cash choice.

Just to confirm, there is no Apple Cash on a Mac to send money using Messages, even if you are using iCloud Messages. It is limited to iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, or visionOS as seen in the compatible devices of the Support Article supplied.

Apple does not give any specific reason why that is the case, but you can send them Feedback here. Under Feedback Type I would choose Feature Request, and of course the Select Product Category button would be Apple Cash. Under Comments you can express that you would like to see the Apple Cash feature on the Mac

Am no expert in this area, yet your post to the community deserves some response.

Seems you may need a compatible device, with an up-to-date OS version iinstalled, n order to use Apple Cash with Messages app securely.

Sorry I haven't found any way to set-up Apple Cash on a Mac.

All methods seem to be for iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro.

(An Apple Watch may also also be compatible.)
