Window Controls and Predictive text not compatible!?!?!

I updated my devices to iOS 26. Now with these new controls (Stage Manager & Windowed Apps), I am unable to use predictive text. Why?????? I need to use both split screen AND predictive text as before!

Curious. Predictive text should still be available, along the top-edge of the on-screen keyboard, while using Apps in Windowed and Stage Manager multitasking modes - as illustrated in this screenshot:

Verify your iPad settings:

Settings > General > Keyboard > [All Keyboards] Predictive Text - set to ON
