iPhone 17 Pro Battery Draining Very Quickly Despite 100% Battery Health

I am using an iPhone 17 Pro on iOS 26.2 that I got back in December. For the past few days, within 2 hours of screen time usage my iPhone is going from 100% battery to 20%. It has used 173% of battery for 4 hours of screen time. I am being forced to charge it multiple times a day. The battery health is 100%, and I don't believe it is water damaged. The only thing that has changed is I got an official apple MagSafe wallet, but I don't see how that could be the problem. The phone is that some apps are draining 150% of my battery in a few minutes? How do I fix this?

Delete the Reddit app. Restart your device. Download and install a fresh copy of Reddit and review usage and heat condition of iPhone.

Reddit app has been updated 11 times in last month. In fact they released an update on Tuesday and again yesterday. This is a development team struggling making their app compatible with iPhones and iOS 26.

Turn off background app refresh and close all opened apps in background. Update to iOS 26.2.1

And if you are getting poor performance, including battery consumption, from the Reddit app, you can delete the app and access Reddit on the Web instead. That way you are not relying on the developer of the app to fix the bugs that are causing your battery to drain, until they are able to provide an app that is working efficiently.
