iPhone 17 not charging

new iPhone 17 won’t charge on the cable that came with it. Purchased a wireless charger, I lay the phone down, says it’s charging and and then stops after a few seconds. Tried shutdown and restart, no help. Tried plugging into wall socket with block, not successful

iPhone 16 Pro charging port not working consistently I got my 16 pro on release day and it’s been fine however over the past week the charging port has been playing up. Sometimes when i plug in the cable it’ll work fine and other times it won’t charge at all. I found out an old wireless charger and that works fine every time. The port hasn’t got any debris in it. The port is not loose. Im using the provided braided usb c cable alongside an Apple 18w power adapter. I’ve also tested with a different apple USB-C cable which came with my ipad and a different apple 18w power adapter and the issue persists. Could this be a software issue or will i need to visit the genius bar? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Iphone not wirelessly charging while dead My charger port recently stopped working so I just have been using a wireless charger. Does while charging not work once the phone is dead?

Have you had the iPhone for less than 14 days? If so, return to Apple for refund or exchange. If you purchased from another merchant, contact place of purchase and determine return status of the iPhone. If it’s beyond return period, we can start troubleshooting shooting the device or you can contact Apple Support.
