Your Screen is Apparently Failing:

From what you have reported, your screen is apparently failing. It may be a glitch, or a hardware error. So how have you troubleshot this, this far, yourself?

A Bit of a Story:

My 2027 MBP’s screen failed after High Sierra was installed. This occurred during the years of COVID. I had to send it in via mail for service; all time of which it wailed to operate. So, being so patient of a customer, Apple fondly granted me a free $2.5 USD upgrade, for no more than the cost of 4 years AppleCare —not problems since.

What to Try:

Perhaps this is a Faulty Device?:

How old is this Mac? Note that you have a one-year, out-of-the-box, limited-warranty with this. So, if it is covered under warranty, then see if you can get the screen replaced. Being faulty, it likely would be nothing on you. Ask Apple Support for a new screen.

Thanks for sharing all the details about your situation, jiana48.

It’s impossible to determine the actual cause of failure without conducting tests, so I’ve created a user-friendly tip specifically for situations like this.
