How to fix persistent Wi-Fi issues on iPhone 17 with iOS 26.2.1?

I have an iphone 17 and I am having infinite issues with wifi… The issue started a day after purchase. Perhaps have to do with update the ios version. The only two workarounds are to disconnect wifi and reconnect which gives you like 30 seconds of internet or through hotspot from another device.. This is not a solution that I accept. I’m also on the latest ios 26.2.1 Please advise

Do you have a VPN installed on your iPhone (used or not)? VPN's cause connectivity issues like you've described. They are not needed on iPhone at all. And garden variety free VPN's don't provide the security one has been led to believe they do. If you have a VPN on your iPhone, remove the VPN profile in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. Remove any associated app, then restart your iPhone.

This most often happens when transferring the data from a previous iPhone to a new iPhone. The VPN attaches to the phone and doesn't transfer over to the new phone. If you feel you must have a VPN, after removing it, you can try to reinstall it if you must (but I wouldn't ever have one on my iPhone).

First, try a forced restart. If that doesn't work take it in to the Apple store to have it looked at.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
