Apple ID billing problem with Visa cards

Hello,




I’m having a billing problem with my Apple ID. I’ve tried adding two different Visa cards, but Apple still shows a “Billing Problem” message.




I only have these two cards, and unfortunately I don’t have the option to add another payment method. Both cards are valid and work for other payments.


Could you please help me understand why this issue keeps occurring and how I can resolve it?

Does it say that there is a Billing Problem with a previous purchase". That would mean you have an unpaid balance and you can look here for additional information. Adding a Gift Card to fund your Apple Account may be an option.

If a message says 'billing problem with previous purchase' or 'verification required' - Apple Support


None of us have access to your account to determine the reason. Make sure the billing information on your Apple Account matches that of your card. It is not possible to add a card from a different region than what is used by your Apple Account/device. You can contact Apple directly here to see if they have any additional information:

If an item appears in red then it is not working. Apple is likely querying your bank and not receiving a "yes" message or any message at all. In that case the best place to start is with your bank.
