It’s possible it a website issue that the merchant will have to resolve. On your iPhone please follow this path,

iPhone > Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Apple Pay Defaults > Allow Payments on Mac > if enabled, try disabling setting and try the transaction again.

Is your keyboard an Apple keyboard or third party? Is the OS on your Mac up to date with the most current version?

Thank you, Jeff. If it happens again, I will try the "allow Payments on Mac" turning off then on.

This issue has happened on more than one website that used to work for me. (When I encounter the problem, I just pay another way.)

I am using a MacBook Air laptop with its own keyboard (no separate keyboard). I believe I am using the latest version of Sequoia (with the new MacOS available to me but not yet installed). I have automatic updates turned on.
