Mail app not sending on iPhone 15 after host change

Hi. I have an iphone 15 ios 18.6

I use the mail app and my email is through my web host so I use the server pop and smtp from them. The original host was bought by ipage.com which has been horrible. Yesterday my mail stopped sending, with incorrect server notices and “sender,” not valid. I spent 3 maddening hours in a chat with page, and nothing was resolved.

I am entering all the SSL etc. Same set up on my laptop, works.

Somehow I think it’s an iphone glitch.

I have deleted and reentered about 20 times.

I reset the network.

I deleted the entire app and re entered all the information.

I cannot figure out what on earth is happening. Im

hesitant to upgrade to ios 26. But, maybe that would help.

Sorry for all the words….

Mal Not Working on an iPhone with Mac Configurations:

Update your iPhone:

If all is working on the Mac, then it seems to be a system issue, likely a glitch, as you have mentioned. So, backup your iPhone to a computer (Mac or PC), and then perform the upgrade. As for how to upgrade, other than through the iPhone itself, you can also upgrade through a computer(WiFi or Ethernet), and through Cellular (be certain you have the services to perform this upgrade through Cellular to avoid additional charges).
