Nobody is getting into a current version of iOS on an iPhone with a text message alone, not outside of immensely expensive and targeted exploit tooling. And if somebody is a target for that kind of exploit tooling, they need specialized help with their security. That assistance involves some sensitive and personal questions, and is well outside of what help can be offered in a forum.

More commonly, these are scams and scam advertisements, and false “(31) viruses detected!” messages, and various sorts of phishing, and other sorts of rubbish, and these are all quite common.

Can you get what link? Your post doesn't make much sense. Without much more information, it will be impossible to help you. What makes you think someone has gotten into your wife's phone? If your wife is getting text messages, we all get text messages from people we don't know and they are often what are called Phishing Scam messages, but that doesn't mean they are getting into our phone.
