I made the unfortunate decision to get a new phone. The transition process failed spectacularly. Apple software is not what it was. However, the AirPods connected absolutely fine… Good news!
IPhone 11: AirPods2 = complication. (Good).
iPhone 11: AirPods3 equals no complication (bug?)
iPhone 17: AirPods3 equals no complication either.
On Sunday, I happen to be in a loud environment where my watch poked me constantly with notifications about loud noise. The problem is that I was wearing my new AirPods. They were reducing the noise levels really well (just like the AirPods two did). It seems that the watch is not aware of any noise cancelling being done by AirPods three. Hence the lack of complication on the Noise app on the watch, and the noise triggered notifications.
Has anybody else encountered this? Could there be a fault with this particular pair of headphones?
