Trying to know what chip is this MacBook Air 13”

It would appear to be one of these 2 models:

• https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook-air/specs/macbook-air-m1-8-core-7-core-gpu-13-retina-display-2020-specs.html
• https://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook-air/specs/macbook-air-m1-8-core-8-core-gpu-13-retina-display-2020-specs.html

Both are the M1 3.2GHz processor with a difference in the number of GPU cores.

Please do Applications > Utilties. Find System Information and launch it; You will get something like this:

That gives you the exact chip version you have, including core count.

Click the Apple menu  > About This Mac to find the answer.
