Unlocking disabled iPhone after screen defect

My iPhone was disabled due to a screen defect. It entered the passcode and was disabled. I replaced the screen and know the passcode or how to unlock it, but without erasing the data.

iPhone 16 Pro Max, iOS 26

If the phone is disabled, it has to be erased and the data on the phone will be erased in the process. Assuming you have been backing up your phone, you'll be able to restore the data from the backup to the phone after you get back in. If you haven't backed up, your data is gone.
