I couldn't remove the Grammarly app from my Mac Mini OS Tahoe 26.2. There was a community thread on this for another Mac computer but is no longer available. Simply restart your computer, then go to applications folder & drag it to the trash. Then empty the trash.

Normally, when I want to delete apps on my Macs I 'd do a right click in the application folder (in the finder window) & choose "move to trash" but it wouldn't go to the trash. Tried moving it to the trash several times but still didn't work. I restarted the computer & still the same thing. But once I dragged the app into the trash, it worked & then I emptied the trash. Since Apple did it's update to OS Tahoe in Sept. 2025, I've got a lot of issues with Mail & Messages & other quirky things like trashing an app :(

That is the standard way for deleting apps on a Mac.
