How do I dispute an unauthorized subscription charge on my Apple Account?

A sum of money was deducted from my bank account and I was charged for subscribing to the application, which I did not want to subscribe to.

Confirm you have canceled any subscription automatic renewal (if you simply delete an app this does not cancel subscriptions):

Notes:

• "If you signed up [which involves very intentional steps by you or a user of your device, accompanied by warnings along the way, so you must have authorized it] for a free or discounted trial subscription and you don't want to renew it, cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends." Note that by using an app like this you are automatically agreeing (always read the fine print) to this happening, are responsible for reading if this will happen, and canceling the subscription before the trial ends. • Deleting an app does not cancel a subscription.

• An existing subscription will normally continue until the end of its term and may then renew automatically. Stopping automatic renewal is effectively canceling it. If you downloaded the app as a free trial, but didn't cancel the free trial 24 hors before the trial ended, you authorized the subscription to revert to paid when you originally downloaded the app.


If you have used a free trial with this app in the past, the system would have detected that and charged you for a subscription upon redownloading the app.


Apple considers all purchases as final. But you can request a refund. In the Apple email receipt for the subscription purchase, use the Report a problem link to make the refund request.


You can also check through this site, which also makes it easy to request a refund:

Apple rarely gives refunds.
