Since this morning (2nd Feb 2026) I am unable to respond to Facebook posts via the Like, Reply and Share prompts, via my 2013 iMac running 10.15.7 Catalina. It was OK yesterday, and there is no problem on my 2017 MacBook Air.
I would gratefully appreciate a solution that, hopefully, is a quick fix.

The only remaining up to date browser available for macOS Catalina is Firefox:
While some other third party browsers may not be too far out of date, any out of date browser will eventually have issues rendering or accessing websites as the Internet changes. Safari from macOS Catalina is way out of date now.

Try logging out of FB and back in. Try a different browser.
Nothing with FB/Meta is a quick fix. They seem to be having quite a bit of trouble with their software and interfaces. And have been for quite some time.
