How to share files to a group on messages app in IOS26?

How do I send files from the files app to an imessage group on the messages app? Looks like I have to use another cloud storage provider or I have to enter each recipients contact info which i don’t have…I must be missing something on ios26?

Try this.

Browse the iCloud file in Files app.

Tap the share icon,

Select Messages app from the share sheet

Type the group and send.
