i am about to lose my mind with the imessage syncing issue for group texts across a iphone, macbook air and desktop. Anyone else found a solution? none of the suggested fixes actually fix this. Signing in and signing out, making same id, etc. etc. I use imessage on 3 devices for work and this problem is a big problem for me. Any advice?
it seems particularly problematic with images and/or when a android user is in the group.

This isn't an imessage issue, since you're sending group message via MMS as you icluded Android user.
do you have this set up https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208386 ?
a macbook air or desktop alone can't send/receive sms/mms to non iphone users.

Possibility that someone in that group message has MMS turned off, especially if you're seeing the same thing on your iphone.
