How can I record or replay F1 races on Apple TV?

Hey all. I am a F1 Racing follower and as of 2026 AppleTV have the exclusive rights to all races in the USA. As many of the races are in the middle of the night, when broadcast on ESPN, I have recorded them on my DVR but, this is not possible with APPLETV. So, my question is/are (1) am I able to record to a USB drive for watching later or, (2) I have heard there's an 'On Demand Replay' Function which I assume means I can log into my AppleTV account search for and watch at a later time/date specific programs? I thank you in advance for any advice or help you can provide

Option (2) is the answer. ‘On demand replay’ means that you would be able to select a previously aired program at a later moment (possibly during the same season only).

TY - in many cases I would be watching within a few hours of the actual race when I get up. I see I have a 7 day FREE trial period so perhaps I will subscribe during a period when the first race is covered by that trial period. Again thank you
