iPad Air just mostly doesn’t work

brand new ipad air sucks. nothing syncs anymore. everytime I have a problems, I search for solutions and it says restart the ****** thing. ive restarted it 5 times today and it still sucks. Videos wont play on the internet. I can’t stream anything to my tv. My contacts won’t sync. My music library won’t sync. Games are so laggy I just quit trying to play. These were simple games - like bubble poopers and sorting games. Never had trouble with any of this on my cheap iPad.

WTH?

Why is it that I never ever get answers to my problems on this site? It is a waste of time.

The Apple Support Community isn't a chat-room where you can expect an instant reply. Instead you post a question - and then wait for another contributor who may be able to offer constructive guidance to see and respond. Some "instant" and short responses often won't provide actionable guidance. Sometimes you'll receive a swift response, sometimes you may be waiting for many hours.

If your iPad is not operating as expected, try a forced-restart - as this will often clear an isolated or post-update software issue:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

If the problem persists after performing the restart, it may be necessary to reset your iPad settings. While this reset will not cause any loss of data, as a precaution, it is always wise to ensure that you have a current iCloud or iTunes backup before performing the reset:

When you are happy to proceed, you can perform the reset from iPad settings:

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset All Settings

If the problem still doesn’t clear, the next step is to reset the iPad to factory settings:

Otherwise, you would be best advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page. Alternatively you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

You might also visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to assist with troubleshooting - and if a fault is identified, test and assess your iPad:

Probably because your problems are so many and so loosely described that it's impossible for someone sitting at home to diagnose. If it were me and it were that broken I'd take it back to the shop But let's try. Let's start with "nothing synchs any more". What exactly do you mean? Please give a detailed list of all the things that don't synch any more, what you're synching them with, how you're synching them and confirm that with your old iPad they did synch.
