Calendar app row height decreased on its own

New iPAd Pro, iOS 26.2.1, and today, the Apple calendar app spontaneously changed the row spacing height, collapsing the height and showing many more hourly rows per screen. This makes all the multi-line event boxes show only part of the first line, making it impossible to see what is scheduled for the week at a glance without individually clicking on each event block. First few days, and earlier today, all was fine. Tonight, the calendar is almost worthless. Why did this happen. And how can I change it back?
