SIM/eSIM totally stopped working I tried everything

Hey, I really need help because my SIM / eSIM is completely broken and I’m honestly out of ideas.

It started with random SIM failures. At first I could fix it by restarting the phone or turning the line off and on, but after a few days it just stopped working completely.

I tried deleting all eSIMs, but even after erasing them they were still showing up. Then I did a full factory reset. Didn’t help. I reset it again using the Apple Devices app — still nothing.

After that reset I put my old SIM back in, but it still had no service at all. No signal, nothing worked, I couldn’t do anything. The phone was basically dead for mobile use.

I thought maybe the SIM itself was the problem, so I bought a brand-new physical SIM. Same result. Literally nothing changed.

As a last step I did a full DFU restore and set the phone up from scratch. Even after that, mobile service is still broken. I can open Mobile Services and I see the SIM there, but it’s turned off, shows no number, and when I tap on it the page is completely blank. There’s also no option to add a new eSIM anymore.

What’s weird is that I can see all the normal device info model, serial number, software versions, my Apple ID emails, everything so the phone clearly knows what it is. I just can’t activate or use any mobile service at all.

At this point I genuinely don’t know what to do. I’ve tried multiple SIMs, full resets, Apple Devices restore, and DFU, and nothing changes. I really need this to be escalated or properly checked because I’m completely stuck.

shutdown your iPhone

Settings-> General bottom option is shutdown

leave the phone alone for 2 minutes following shutdown

Keep volume UP + Volume down pressed and at the same time plug to charge

When the apple logo comes up release the Volume buttons

Now you are into the the diagnostic & repair menu of the phone

It will ask to be connected to WiFi, connect to wifi and proceed

Choose run diagnostics

Choose mobile resource inspector

Give us feedback on the results
