When troubleshooting a CarPlay issue, how do I reboot?

I’m getting multiple issues on multiple devices and I received advice to reboot the devices.

Does anyone know how to do that with a CarPlay situation where I want to see if a reboot will address it?

Is it as simple as rebooting the phone and shutting the car off and back on again?

I assume you need to reboot the entertainment center in your car. It varies by car manufacturer. In my RAM I have to hold down the volume and tune buttons simultaneously until the screen goes blank and the system reboots. If that doesn’t work for you, ask ChatGPT for how to reboot the entertainment system in your car make and model.
