I am attempting to sign in to my Apple account via my iTunes, I get the error message "Verification failed. This action could not be completed. Try again." I am doing this on a Windows 11 computer. I am able to sign in using the exact same username and login on the Apple website and other devices. I use the PC iTunes to manage my devices, which I can not do without signing into my account.
I thought I was the only one. I was working in iTunes and then all of the sudden, I was signed out. Tried several times to sign in and I get the "Verification Failed" error.
Things I have done to try and solve this:
-Restart computer
-Check for iTunes Updates through the Windows Store
-Reset password
-Uninstalled and reinstalled the Windows version
-Reset the program (through Windows setting)
-Checked for Windows Updates
And nothing has worked.
It seems to be on Apple's end if others are having the same issue.
Despite my having done nothing at all, I just was able to login without any errors. Last night I tried a little before midnight and kept getting the error message. For a lark, I just tried again (approximately 13 hours later) and I logged right in. I made no changes whatsoever between the tries. I hope this now works for the rest of you.
Thanks for sharing, as now we know that there are more of us! I have also done all of those same steps with no response. I also tried re-installing iTunes from Apple, rather than Microsoft. I was given an error message that it couldn't install iTunes because of an iPod issue and to delete the iPod. It then wouldn't let me do that. I've run out of things to try!
omg, glad im not alone here. i was at a movie last night and left my apple music open, only to return to find that it had signed me out and when i tried signing in, i too kept getting the "Verification Failed" message. I too have tried the various ways stated by user "Dj eNyM" to solve the issue, only to not be able to sign-in. i'm honestly hoping that this just some sort of glitch or apple system error and that it gets solved asap.
I am getting the same on a Window 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 installation. (Using that since my hardware isn't supported and the IoT license gives me until January 2032...)
I was finally able to get in too just now. Glad it wasn't down for too long.
