MacBook Air communication error printing to Epson ET-2860

Morning all, I've got a MacBook Air (bought 2025) and a MacMini, both printing to an Epson ET-2860 printer via WIFI.

A week or so ago the MacBook just stopped printing - 'communication error' showing in the print queue. The MacMini still prints fine. The MacBook still shows it is connected to the printer.

I have updated driver, and printer firmware, uninstalled printer and reinstalled. Nothing has changed with broadband or WIFI passwords etc.

Any help greatly received.

Hi,

I just wonder if your MacBook Air on the same WiFi network as printer.

Try to start up in Safe mode and print if it could printing.
