iPad 10th gen stuck on "preparing update" for iOS 26.3
I have an iPad 10th gen and it won’t update to iOS 26.3 it says preparing update I waited 20 minutes. Is this normal?

Immediately after downloading the update package, it must be unpacked and verified on the device before it can be installed. Depending upon the size of the update, this process can take a considerable period of time - in particular when Apple's update servers are particularly busy.
Speaking of personal experience, on occasion I have see a waiting period of up to an hour before the update process will continue.
