Purchased book not on iPhone but appears on Mac mini

A purchased book (The Agony and the Ecstasy) is available on my Mac mini, but is not on my iPhone.

Arer you certain the account in Settings ➜ Account ➜ Media & Purchases on iPhone is the same as the one in the Books App on the Mac?

Are you using the same Apple Account on the iPhone as on the Mac?

Both the Mac and the iPhone versions of iBooks are logged in to the same account. The same username and password. The book on the Mac doesn't show up at all on the iPhone.
