That path is for connecting into your account at an affiliated school or business or other organization.

If you’re not using your iPhone directly with a school or business or organization, then that path isn’t you.

How do I get rid of this with no log in credentials for work and school?

Okay, so this might be a different question than the rest of this thread.

You are probably asking about this:

Which then shows this:

There are many parts of iOS many of us won’t be using.

This is one part you won’t be using.

Not unless you are using your iPhone with work or school computers.

There is nothing here that you want or need to use, and nothing here that you need (or even can) remove.

This is just another part of iOS.

Unless you previously have signed into work or school with this, then check with the work or school IT group

Don’t install “coffee shop” VPNs. The “coffee shop” VPNs badly solve a problem that hasn’t existed for a decade or so, but do it in a way perfect for personally-identified metadata collection. They too often get hyped because they’re great at collecting network data for advertisers. Which is pretty much the opposite of what many users might expect.

Apple networking a d Apple web browsing uses end-to-end connection encryption, and also offers iCloud+ Private Relay for web browsing privacy.

Since you will find it and might depend on the answers: AI generated text is questionable at best, problematic as a reference source, and AI suggestions can be wrong, and the AI text can increasingly be scams.

Common ways to get hacked: Re-using passwords is a common cause of getting hacked. Folks re-use passwords, get phished, or install unnecessary or problematic apps.

And again, that Apple VPN control is for tying your iPhone network security to an employer or school. You don’t need or want that. This is an end-to-end business or school VPN, and not a hyped “coffee shop” VPN, and you are not connecting into the internal private network of a business or a school. You don’t need this VPN, and you also don’t need a “coffee shop” VPN.

TL;DR: VPN bad.

When you go to VPN & Device Management, you did not mention that you also see.....

VPN Not Connected

Since you do not have a VPN Connected to use with your work or school network, it means that you have nothing to log into.....because you do not have a VPN installed on your iPhone.

You don't need....or want....a VPN on your iPhone unless your work or school requires it.

You are asking us to guess a whole lot about your situation. Here are just a few examples:

  • What model iPhone?
  • What iOS version?
  • Are you the original owner?
    • Yes. Did you purchase this iPhone from an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Retailer?
    • No.
      • Did the previous owner thoroughly cleanse the iPhone before you received it?
      • Might the previous owner have been connected to work and/or school?
  • Why are you using VPN?
  • Under what type of situation is it being supplied? For example, are you using it at home, work, …
  • Are you the only person ever to have used your Apple Account?
  • Are you in a family sharing group?

I only got the vpn because I had the brave internet search and it came with it but when I didn’t pay for it,it disappeared off of my phone,my phone was brand new in the box,no one that I know has my apple account,In saying that I’ve had trouble in the past with accounts being hacked into, being locked out of,verification changing to source I don’t have to get back in,I believe someone either is getting in through my number, administrator,I think that’s what it’s called,I got an iPhone to try and stop this happening,I also was limited on who I gave my number too because of this,I’m not really up with technology, anything I’ve come to understand about what could potentially be happening I’ve had to google, however doesn’t seem to fix it
