FaceTime call audio problem with MacBook air 2017 when I try to call someone with FaceTime, on my MacBook Air 2017, the output audio doesn't work well, it screams. I have this problem only when I'm calling, not when I'm listening to music or other types of output audio.

FaceTime not working on MacBook Air M3 I purchase my MacBook Air m3 in August 2024, and about two months ago FaceTime just stopped working. At best I can open it but I can’t pick up any calls let alone make them on the device. I always have to force quit the application or it force quits on its own. I’ve repeatedly reported the issue to Apple (not sure if that actually does anything, first time using a Mac) and nothing has really changed. I’ve held off on trying to seriously get it fixed just because I can still make the calls from my phone. Does anyone else have this problem? Do you know if I’ll run into any more? I really don’t think a brand new laptop should have so many software issues… TLDR: FaceTime on my MacBook Air m3 doesn’t work, don’t know why. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

I turn it on or allowed it in the privacy and security setting already but still not working it’s grey in the app says video calling is not supported on this browser but am using safari
